Roberts 321; Part 1 contains commentaries on Book 1-22 and Part 2 on Book 23-50 of the Justinian Digest, discussed in relation to the customary law of that time. Despite its humanists elements is considered as a Dutch contributiton of Usus modernus Pandectarum. This commentary has been of the highest authority in South Africa as source of Roman-Dutch law.
